The World Ends With Who?
Where GTA IV refines the formula of the franchise into a fine art indeed, it’s hardly a revolution in gameplay or game design - just a great game. But of everything I’ve played throughout this year of our Lord, the game to have impressed me most has to be The World Ends With You. Perhaps its unassuming excellence just caught me unguarded; maybe coming across such a fully fledged experience on the DS - of all systems - knocked me for six.
